Biography

Domingo de León was a silversmith who lived in Medina del Campo (Valladolid) in the 16th century (Barrón García, 2000), the city where his workshop was located. Few works by this silversmith have been preserved, the most outstanding being the chalice that is currently in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London.
