Biography

Prior Petrus was one of those responsible for illuminating the Beatus of Santo Domingo de Silos in the time of Abbot Juan. Among the illuminations he carried out on the Beatus are: Hell does not belong to the Antiphonary; Cross of Oviedo; Labyrinth; Christ in majesty with the Tertramorph; Noah's Ark or St. John before the city of Ephesus.
