Description

The Cooper Hewitt. Smithsonian Design Museum was founded by Sarah and Eleanor Hewitt, granddaughters of Peter Cooper Hewitt, in 1897. It is located in Carnegie Mansion (New York) and houses one of the largest design collections in the world. Among the works from Castilla y León housed in the museum is a textile fragment from the tomb of the Infante Don Felipe in Villalcázar de Sirga (Palencia).
