Henry IV of Castile (1425-1474) was the son of John II of Castile and Mary of Aragon. After the death of his father in 1454 he was proclaimed king of Castile. Following the death of Henry IV, the War of the Castilian Succession broke out and ended with Isabella I of Castile occupying the throne.
