Description

Émile Pacully (1864-1938) was a Parisian antique dealer and collector. He had his business in the Place de l'Opéra, in Paris. He frequently traveled abroad, especially to Spain, to acquire new pieces. His collection was inventoried in 1898 and part of it was sold in 1903. Later, after Pacully's death in 1938, the rest of the collection was liquidated. Numerous works belonged to his collection, such as the altarpiece of Chancellor Sánchez de Logroño, from the Monastery of San Benito el Real (Valladolid).
