At present there are hardly any remains of the old hermitage of San Nicolás, which were largely used to build a cemetery. It depended on the Royal Monastery of Las Huelgas de Burgos. Some corbels and capitals that have survived the vicissitudes of time stand out, where lions with confronted heads, eagles, pigs and human figures appear (Martín, 2007).
