Description

Thomas Worsley (1710-1778) was an architect and landowner linked to the Worsley family of Hovingham Hall. He served as inspector general of His Majesty's Board of Works under George III, which gave him great responsibility for many public and palatial buildings. In addition, he held political offices as member of parliament for Orford and Callington.
