Colominas Collection. Barcelona

Description

Josep Colominas i Roca (Barcelona, 1884-Barcelona, 1959) was an archaeologist and geologist who actively contributed to the formation of the Barcelona Archaeological Museum. He worked at this museum as a curator and became its director. He was a member of the Archaeological Research Service of the Diputació de Barcelona and of the Institute of Catalan Studies. He participated in numerous excavations in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands. He built up an interesting personal collection.
