Very little is known about the antique dealers A. dos Reis and E. Kerr. In the third quarter of the 19th century, they acquired the rolled charter containing the confirmation issued by Alfonso X of Castile and Violante of Aragon in favor of the Hospital del Rey (Burgos). On April 8, 1876, they sold it to the British Museum (London).
