Description

Andrea Corsini (1735-1795) was born in Florence, Italy, and was the nephew of Cardinal Neri Maria Corsini. In 1759, Clement XIII appointed him a cardinal, and in 1793 he was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Rome. Like many members of his family, Corsini was a great collector and managed to assemble a remarkable library.
