There is scarce data regarding the Maestro de Burgos. Post (1933) compares some of his stylistic features with those of Piero della Francesca, such as his ability to depict heroic and muscular figures, as well as rigid articulation in movement. His works are scattered across national and international museums and institutions. Examples include: Epiphany (Burgos Cathedral) and Annunciation (Fogg Art Museum, Cambridge).
