Borislav Bogdanovich (1904-1968) was born into an important family in the former Yugoslavia, who cultivated his passion for art. He trained in Paris in the 1920s-1930s and was a founding member of the Twelve group in Belgrade. Later he exhibited with great European masters. With the arrival of the war he emigrated to the United States, where he joined the New York artistic avant-garde and presented works in renowned museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Borislav also acted as an agent for the art dealer Jean Neger.
