Description

In 1908 Nicolas Brimo decided to open an antique shop, a business that his brother-in-law, Lucien Lascombes de Laroussilhe, joined shortly after, resulting in the Brimo de Laroussilhe gallery. Originally the store did not specialize in a particular type of art, but over time its great specialty became the Middle Ages. In 1991, Philippe Carlier took over the reins of the business and decided to focus the sale of pieces on the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. His daughter, Marie-Amélie Carlier, joined the business in 2002 and has been the director since 2010.
