The Musée des Arts Décoratifs (Paris) opened in 1878, initially within the Louvre and later at the Palais de l’Industrie in 1880. However, this was not its permanent home, as the museum moved to the Marsan Pavilion in 1905. The museum houses a vast collection of objects, including furniture, gold and silverware, textiles, toys, glass, and more.
