Description

Lino Zaldivar was a resident of Oña (Burgos). Following the confiscation of the Monastery of San Salvador de Oña (1756), four panels from the former main altarpiece came into his possession: The Annunciation, A Kneeling Benedictine Saint, The Nativity, and The Flight into Egypt. In 1892, they were exhibited at the European Historical Exhibition, and from that point on, they were dispersed.
