Description

Kneuterdijk Palace (The Hague) stands on land that once belonged to the van Wassenaer family. One of the family members, Johan Hendrik, decided to build a palace (1716) in Kneuterdijk and commissioned the architect Daniel Marot. The building was used in the 19th century by William II and Anna Paulowna, who acquired works of art to decorate the rooms. The Miraflores Triptych was installed in the palace’s Gothic Hall in the 1840s.
