Yale University Library

New Haven (United States)

Description

The origins of the Yale University Library (New Haven, United States) date back to 1701, the year the university was founded. It boasts a very large and extensive collection, including manuscripts, rare books, maps, and a photographic archive. In 2001, a reorganization took place in which some items were transferred to the Yale University Art Gallery so they could be exhibited.
