The Isaac Fernández Blanco Museum of Hispano-American Art originated in 1910. He converted his residence into a museum and donated it, along with his collection, to the municipality of Buenos Aires. In 1963 the institution's holdings grew thanks to the donation of Celina Gonzalez Garaño. Among the works from Castilla y León housed in the museum are a Virgin and Child from the Royal Monastery of San Quirce, Saint Lawrence from the Convent of Santa María de las Dueñas and a set of cruets and chalice from the Church of Santo Tomás Cantuariense.
